CLASS :B. Make Your Own Shoes
Perfect class for an introduction to footwear
Length of the course: 16 HOURS 8 sessions of 2hours ea.

This course offers the opportunity to get a quick start in the process of shoe making,
and help you enhance your production, to at-or-under 15 hours of work for your first
pair.
You will soon understand the fundamental rules relating to the construction of any
pattern, and so, beginning with your pattern, you will be able to create an infinite
variation of patterns. By doing your own pattern, you will be totally involved in your
project.
You will cut the leather, glue, stitch but also manufacture the sole from scratch.
Finally you will finish your shoes and wear them!
It is important for us that you get your pair of footwear as quickly as possible in
order to keep you interested, satisfied and pleased with your new skills.
On the other hand this class will allow you to make simple model low heel like shoes.
For more complicated model like boots or high boots, you will need to take the class C,
or class D if you want to make your own Last !

CLASS :C. Make Your Own Boots or High Boots
Length of the course: 16 HOURS

This course is for the advanced student who wants to attempt a more
complicated footwear like Boots or even high Boots.
Also the class could be reinforced by my book: How to make boots from your
garage, where you will find 233 pictures of every step of the process!!!
It is a very powerful tool to be able to study in advance your class, and the
result is extremely efficient.
CLASS :D. Make Your Own Shoes with YOUR OWN LAST
Length of the course: 20 HOURS 10 sessions of 2 hours ea.
Cost: $1,280 Class
Material and book NOT included. Good for two months.
This course is for the student who also needs extra work - such as to replicate
or develop their own last without the heavy investment of a making Last from
scratch.
(*By modifying an existing Last offered on the market, you will complete your
Last (an essential tool for a true Bootmaker) very quickly and at a very low
cost.
Here we do not start the Last from scratch, otherwise the cost will be more
expensive. The results have been excellent and have satisfied all of my
students.

How to insert correctly a metal shank that fit and attached perfectly to your
heel....no guessing.

On the other hand the upper will still be done in leather,of course! Soles will be

CLASS: W-Make your own Last
Length of the course: 16 HOURS 8 sessions of 2 hours ea.

In this class, you will start by ordering your own Last on a opening program.
You will, then, modify your Last to reach your own measurements, or different
measurements.
It will also implicated changes of the Toes shapes, back shapes or even bottom
shapes if necessary.
It is not on the other hand a class to make your own insole shoe support
(please see class X).
After doing your own Last, you will have the option to duplicated it as an
industrial Last and even order all sizes for your future production.

You will make your insole from your own feet (both) starting by the cast of
your feet, which means, those insoles will fit perfectly to be placed inside
your shoes. You will learn how to make how many insoles as you want, and even
to your family and friends!

CLASS : H. Make Your Own Shoes or
Boots in ONE SINGLE DAY!!!!!
Yes, it is possible here at
HOW TO MAKE BOOTS FROM YOUR GARAGE.
IN THIS COURSE, WE TEACH ONLY ONE STUDENT AT A TIME.
The class begins at 7 am and finishes at 7 pm for the shoe class, and up to 10
pm for the boot class.
This is the class for the “super speedy” - the one who has no time to waste.
No hotel to think about, no extra expenses, and most of all, for those who
want to absorbe the footwear industry like an electric shock.
The fact is that when you create it at that speed, you are guaranteed an
immediate understanding of the whole process.
The shorter the experience, the better you absorb the process.
By reading the lecture in my book: How to make boots from your garage,
volume 1 before taking class, you will familiarize your brain to get of the
procedure, instead of just identifying the steps during the Class. On the other
hand, the day of your class, you can then easily integrate the process already
seen in the book, and permanently "absorb" your skill. It’s a "two time"
Integration Skill.
Of course, like in ALL my classes, you will craft YOUR pattern, cut, stitch,
Lasted, build your sole from scratch, cement, and finally be on the road, back
home with your new skill, your pattern, your Last, your tools, your book, and

CLASS : P- BOOT CAMP:
This class is made available for the person who lives a distance from New York
State or just need an intense class for professional needs.
It is an intense class since you’ll do your entire project in one single weekend.
You’ll need to advise me about the mode of footwear you wish to produce
(elegant, casual).
I will then send you your personal list of the materials you will need to obtain
before your Class begins.
(You can study also in advance your class with my book: How to make boots
from your garage, Volume 1 with 233 pictures to help you understand the
process!!!)
The materials are easy to acquire and can be purchased the same Friday
morning that your class begins.
By Friday afternoon, you’ll be working on your pattern until…… Sunday 7pm,
ready to get back home with your footwear completed!
It is a very strong shoe/boot-making experience done in an extraordinarily
short time.

1rst Class: Make a cast of your feet in plaster, (that you keep for you to
make more on your own!!!)
2nd: Class: Make the pattern of your model on your plater mold,

after shopping at the garment district, remember you can go crazy here

This course is for the student who already has their first pattern completed
and wishes to go on to production. The patterns will be made to handle all kinds
of production - mass production or small batches.
It includes full and half sizes up from size 6 to 11.
All will depend upon of the scale of your production, but the techniques remain
the same.
Your Lasts and any copies of your own Last are not included.
This class can be done in 5 consecutive days, 4 hours a day for an extra fee
of $400
CLASS : A. Learn to be in Production.
Length of course: 40 hours Cost: $2,500
This course proceeds over a 10-day training period
This class is for the advanced student who already knows that he/she wants to
be in business.
First step:
The student immediately experiences a Sense of Production, by starting with an
existing order. They will process 6 pairs throughout the Series.
As in real manufacture, the student will have to break down the steps of the
production.
Some components of the manufacture must be produced beforehand.
In addition, all the other elements, necessary to the model in production, will
be gathered in advance as well.
Second :
Here attention is on Assembling of the Elements. A working rhythm is
established, as a cadence of factory production.
The student will train and practice several steps, in order to understand and
appreciate the intensity, the rhythm and the consistency of production.
Third :
Students concentrate here on Finishing the Order, which also includes the
cleaning, packaging and shipping-preparation
Fourth :
At this point, we Review the Line of Production, and all earlier steps are re-
visited. A Student is “tested” this step by completing a questionairy which
gives to the Teacher an opportunity to spot areas of weakness, and to the
Candidate, a real-life challenge and a comprehensive view of the overall
process.
CLASS :I- Comprehensive Course on the Art of Boot-making:
This class is for advanced student who already knows that he/she wants to be
in business.

These studies were developed to be completely goal-centered. This is an
application of the field, in order to generate a living. Nothing is taught
without genuine necessity-of-life in mind.
All artistic development is strictly respected and never changed or judged.
Each student is a magnificent and powerful artist, who needs to develop a
Command of the Craft, and to be coached in order to master her/his skills, run
a line of production and sell their manufactured goods in stores or directly to
the public - to applause / satisfied feedback!!!
-1 Study the Model: Beginning with your drawing(s) we gather all pictures,
documents - any specific design details you can bring, and we come as close as
possible to the feeling you are trying to express through your footwear.
All dreams are welcome, and of course you are coached with industrial methods
& technical advice to engineer the steps necessary to make those dreams
manifest.
- 2 Patterns: From the model described or supplied by the student, or by the
last itself, we will develop patterns to manufacture the first prototype, using
the chosen material.
- 3 Last: Study of the last itself - it’s demands, limits, applications,
advantages, and possibilities.
- 4 Manufacture of the Model: Study of the model to prepare it for
manufacture. Here, a thorough breakdown of the multiple steps required is
covered - in order for the manufacturing process to begin.
A small line of production will be then set up by the student, and driven from
the raw material stage to the end - packaging.
- 5 Delivery and Sales: Here we approach a vital step – a step usually
neglected, but if so, one that is devastating to any business. It is the “face”
of your enterprise. The way you deliver, to a big company or an individual, has
a huge impact on your success. Techniques of basic sales strategy, which
have been successfully implemented for years, are presented by us to be
developed/personalized by each student.

CLASS :N- Make Your Own Heel:

Olivier will coach you on how to work with "plastelina" and other materials to
carve your own heel. Then he will teach you to make a mold ready to
manufacture hundreds of heels.
Then you will learn to manufacture small daily production ready for future
orders.

O- Private Instruction or Business Consultations:
All consultations for private use or business application are $350 an hour, with
